QUICK INFO

5'11, slender but toned, Una has built herself to be commanding and unquestioned. Her long dark hair is often left loose or pulled back, tending to wear her uniform even off-duty, though likely to favour pants and a long-sleeved top otherwise, with a jacket when it's colder.

Una speaks with what sounds like it would be an American accent (West Coast), typically authoritative and confident, though warm and kind when she's around friends. Her colder initial appearance is that of professionalism, keeping herself and those around her focused on the work that they need to do, allowing them in when they're off-duty.

Though Una appears human she's actually Illyrian, an alien race with a humanoid appearance that differs greatly from colony to colony depending on the bio-engineering that they have given themselves. Illyrians believe in collaborating with nature, in manipulating their genetic makeup to be able to live in an environment rather than changing the environment. As such, Una has greatly increased strength and stamina along with a unique immune system that burns out any contaminants or infections. Her vision is also more sensitive, with Una either able to control how her eyes focus or be able to focus/see in greater detail. Along with her strength, she is more resilient, fallible to injury but able to persevere for a little longer before succumbing to her injuries.

fighting/injuries/death: Whilst Una is skilled in both hand-to-hand combat and with use of weaponry from her Starfleet training and has a greater-than-human level of strength, she is more than capable of being injured, caught off guard or beaten in a fight. She tends not to fight unless to defend herself (or someone else) and is generally pretty pacifistic, though it won't stop her from landing a very good punch when she needs to.

telepathy/psychic abilities: She has none and no known defences against telepathy. Let me know if you plan to read her so I can work it into tags.
mental state: Pretty healthy, standard concerns about her job, friends, secrets, but nothing that's affecting her day-to-day.

physical affection: Una keeps herself a little more distant physically even with friends though she doesn't have any issues with physical contact. If someone does overstep her boundaries she's more than happy to tell them or unhand them. Behind closed doors in an intimate setting? A very different story.
